A short program for civil construction workers/plant operators who need the skills and knowledge to identify, locate and protect underground services such as water, power, gas, telecommunications, etc. Course content incorporates current legislation/codes of practice, BYDA and ‘industry best practice’ processes, including use of locator equipment.

A short program targeting safety observers, supervisors and plant operators working with or around close proximity to overhead and underground power sources/services. Content reflects WHS harmonised legislation and new Codes of Practice and replaces the old 5099 course.

This program involves the skills and knowledge required to work safely in the vicinity of live electrical apparatus as a non-electrical worker.
It includes compliance with safe approach distances for the worker, plant, tools and equipment, in accordance with state legislation and industry codes of practice.
Perform Rescue from a Live LV Panel
Pre-requisite: Provide CPR HLTAID009
This program covers best practice rescue procedures from live LV apparatus in the context of transmission, distribution or rail work functions.
