A half day program for civil construction workers/plant operators who need the skills and knowledge to identify, locate and protect underground services such as water, power, gas, telecommunications, etc. Course content incorporates current legislation/codes of practice, DBYD and ‘industry best practice’ processes, including use of locator.

Work Safely Around Electrical Sources, Services and Assets

A 2 day program targeting safety observers, supervisors and plant operators working with or around close proximity to overhead and underground power sources/services. Content reflects WHS harmonised legislation and new Codes of Practice and replaces the old 5099 course.

Also includes ‘LV Release & Rescue and Provide CPR [HLTAID001]’.

National Model Code of Practice recommends refresher training annually.

Supervise Mobile Plant Operations

A one day program designed for mobile plant spotters and drivers/operators who may need to coordinate safe movement around multiple plant operations on civil construction projects. Theory and practical assessments can be contextualised to suit company processes and specific project requirements. Course content reflects WHS legislation and new model codes of practice.
