This qualification is for workers in the resources and infrastructure (RII) industries who perform mainly routine tasks, using limited practical skills and basic operational knowledge, with some responsibility for quality of work outcomes. It is a pathway qualification that prepares individuals to successfully undertake a Certificate III in the relevant industry sector. Suitable for pre-employment programs and designed for new workers or those new to the industry.
